Binding & Loosing (Matt 16:19; 18:18)
Dear fellow Bible studiers, If you have opportunity you can look at Matt 16:19 and Matt 18:15-20. I have been learning some new things about "binding" and "loosing" and am eager to dive into that with you tonight. A few points to ponder: What is bound or loosed? What does the context of Matt 16:19; 18:18 tell you about these two concepts? How does this pertain to church discipline? How does this pertain to prayer? How does this pertain to what we teach? Check some different versions for 16:19 and 18:18. What is the importance of the verb tenses in these verses? I hope that is helpful for you.
